National University (NU) is the second largest private university in the state of
California and is widely recognized throughout most of the western United States

According to data from the eighth annual report of the NSSE (National Survey of Student
Engagement) released on November 5, 2007, National University has surpassed
nationwide benchmarks measuring the level of academic educational standards
at four-year colleges and universities six years in a row. In 2006, NU earned an Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Pacific Southwest Chapter, for its "One University" commercial. In 2003, NU received its second Eureka Award - the only institution of higher education to be recognized. In 2002, NU was the first university since 1996 to be recognized with a Eureka ("Baby Baldrige") Award by the California Council for Excellence. |
